Goodbye 2018, Hello 2019

Goodbye 2108. A lot happened last year and it will be of help moving into 2019. I did a big push in marketing, updated the company logo, created new business cards and signs and finished it up by updating our website (many thanks to Lemon Fresh Design here in Boonville).

I felt that after two plus years at the helm of North Country Real Estate it was time to put my mark on it. I love the train and caboose but those were Mike’s dream, not mine. From my beginning in real estate, my strength is being local. To reflect that and our commitment to the local community, we chose an oak tree and the tag line “Rooted in Community.” It reflects the in-depth knowledge North Country’s agents have of the area we serve and it expresses decision to give back to the community we depend upon.

The new website serves to showcase our listings, with clean, fresh styling and space to really highlight them. I hope you take a few minutes to peruse it. It’s very exciting to have this done locally and able to manage it ourselves from here on. The previous site was “canned” and had many limitations.

2019 has started beautifully with a lot of rain and some gorgeous clear Winter days. I have had to spend more time indoors than I’d like with my foot still healing, but I have also enjoyed sipping tea by the fire and watching the rain (and sometimes hail) come down. We were able to get out on New Year’s day and have a little picnic in our vineyard, which was nice. We have also ventured out into Elk and had a wonderful meal at the Harbor House. The new renovations are stunning and the food was outstanding. Also, a pretty good bargain at $40/person for four courses at that quality.
