It's Fall again
I know I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again - Fall is my favorite season. I love the color and the light and the cooler temperatures, especially at night. The fires of recent years have put a damper on my joy, sadly. My favorite season now brings with it the danger of fires and the sadness of people losing their homes, businesses and lives. Hopefully, the rains will begin soon and we can rest a little easier.
This Autumn has continued to be busy in real estate, both for myself and for many agents in the area. I no sooner put one sale to bed then a new escrow is opening. From a business standpoint it is wonderful. It’s exhilarating and keeps me on my toes. It’s a little exhausting too. The real estate market has so many ups and downs, I’ll take this up and enjoy it while it lasts.
We were blessed with another visit from our granddaughter, Rose, this past weekend. She is walking now, and how. Everyone got their exercise following her around the house, inside and out. She loves the dogs, the chickens and “dirt.” She is a happy, joyous child and she constantly has us smiling and laughing.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Wickson last Thursday evening. We had spent the day cleaning and prepping for the baby’s visit and did not feel like cooking. We sat outside in their courtyard in the nice evening air and enjoyed some delicious food - anchovy toast with lemons, a simple little gem salad, a roast veggie dish and scrumptious lingcod. We also enjoyed a glass of local Reisling from the Cole Ranch and an Albarino from Yamakiri.
We remain healthy and well and for that I’m thankful. I hope you and yours remain the same. Enjoy the Fall!
