Thanksgiving is on it's way

Many of you know that autumn is my favorite season. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday - no gifts required, just food and friends and family. I’m excited to be hosting this year, with somewhere between 14 and 16 guests. I’ve ordered a large turkey and may order another smaller one to ensure plenty of leftovers. People are bringing sides and I’ll add to that - I found a Brussels sprouts recipe that sounds quite yummy.; I’m going to try a new pumpkin pie recipe as well. It looks like the weather will be good and that’s a plus. My two granddaughters will be visiting - the six year old will keep me on my toes while the seven month old will be a joy to hold and coo too. I love to set a nice table and this year I’m incorporating a Lego floral arrangement that friends gave me last Christmas. I haven’t worked out the rest of the details yet, but I’ll try to post pictures next time.
