I last sat down to write on the 30th of March. Not too much has changed in my immediate world since that time": We have done a lot of work on the property, our daily routine of meals is different now that before and I spend a lot less time on my computer.

It’s Monday the 30th, the third week of the reality of this virus and its associated disease, Covid-19. Life is very different for everyone, mostly not for the better, but for some better than for others. At our place we are still healthy and active and thankful for that. Like everyone else, we watch the news and cry for New York and its dead and its medical providers. It’s a tough time.

The last couple of weeks have been interesting, to paraphrase the infamous Chinese “blessing.” We went from spending another week in Tahoe, at the Kirkwood resort, to coming home to pretty much isolation on the ranch.

Earlier this month we spent a week in Sedona and enjoyed a brief visit to the Grand Canyon.

Tissues, cough medicine, lots of tea….

August simply flew past and now we’re already in September and it’s Fair Time!

Family and high school reunions in North-Central California.

Is summer over already?? I don’t think so, but I’m sure not going to stop enjoying the season.

We have friends visiting from Philadelphia and have been enjoying exploring our own area.
